The Florida Pharmacy Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Up to 15 contact hours are available upon successful completion of attendance and evaluation forms. Universal Activity Numbers (UAN) above. Statements of continuing education will be mailed within six weeks. This is an ACPE activity based program. The consultant recertification number is pending approval. The FPA is also a Florida Department of Health approved provider of continuing education. |

Technician Registration Form on BOP Web Site

Requires the Board of Pharmacy to adopt rules on registration
Requires registered technicians to be 17 years old
Requires 20 hours of CE (4 hours live, 2 hours med errors)
Registration must be available to the public as well as board inspectors
Pharmacy interns exempt from registration
Technician students exempt from registration
Pharmacist with discipline not eligible to register as technician
By January 1, 2011 Registered Technicians must have:
- Completed a Board approved training program or
- Have completed a certification program approved by NCCA or
- Have worked a minimum of 1,500 under a licensed pharmacist

If your search does not bring up the provider consider entering in less information in the "name" boxes. The more information that you enter the higher the possibility for spelling errors.
